A Note From Chief

“In my fire service both paid and volunteer, I have been cursed at, spit on, shot at, missed birthdays, anniversaries, valentine’s day, Christmas and so much more! I have asked the Good Lord multiple time’s why should I carry on. I keep getting the same reply because I asked you to…..”
-Paul Gregory, Chief of Tarkington Volunteer Fire Department

"I feel safer knowing the volunteers at the Tarkington Volunteer Fire Department are always on standby to help in any situation."

"I was the victim of a head on 3-vehicle collision on 321 right past Ranch Hand Cafe. Ultimately, I was life flighted to Memorial Hermann downtown, after being cut out of my vehicle, in serious condition.
I believe I am alive today because of the police department and the Tarkington EMS crews. We donate to the TVFD every month and will pay it forward to you every time we can."

"Good people who take care of our community. Appreciate all they do for all of us in Tarkington.!"
